Inez Kawicka

Inez Kawicka is an experienced legal expert with over 18 years of experience in the transport, forwarding, and logistics industry, including risk management as well as audits and certifications. In her career, she has held key roles at companies such as DSV and XPO Logistics Europe, where she dealt with risk management, claims, and the pursuit of compensation. Her skills and specializations include transport law, insurance—particularly OCP, OCS, and CARGO—and audits and certifications (ISO, SQAS, IFS, GMP+).

She joined OMIDA Group in September 2015, initially taking on the role of Claims & Risk Management Director. Her commitment and successes in risk management and legal compliance quickly caught the board’s attention, which led to further advancement in her career within the group.

In 2018, she assumed the position of Legal & Compliance Director, responsible for ensuring adherence to legal regulations and aligning processes throughout the organization. In 2023, she was appointed as a board member of Omida SSC—a company that plays a key role in managing the back-office processes of OMIDA Group, supporting operations related to finance, accounting, and other administrative areas.

As ESG Officer, Inez leads initiatives related to responsible business practices, aimed at improving the organization’s impact on the environment and society. In August this year, she began implementing an ESG strategy at OMIDA Group, representing another step toward the organization’s sustainable development.

Additionally, she regularly lectures at universities and conducts training in transport law, covering the CMR Convention, road transport law, OCP and OCS insurance, as well as topics related to risk management in the TSL industry.
